1.0 New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel
(also known as Perna, New Zealand Green Mollusk, NZGLM, etc.)
New Zealand green lipped mussel is a species of shellfish that can only be found in the waters and on the shores of New Zealand. Green Lipped Mussels are a traditional food of the Maoris indigenous people of New Zealand. The use of green lipped muscles as an alternative medicine is relatively new to the western world. The benefits of Green Lipped Muscles were noted by the western world upon observation of the Maoris people specifically that the incidence of arthritis among the Maoris people was very low.
Green Lipped Mussel (NZGLM) Is Typically Available in
· Oil gel supplement;
o In oil form NZGLM is only effective for treating arthritis and inflammation;
